2. Payment 2.1 The Hirer shall pay the fee, plus VAT if applicable (the “Fee”), for the services rendered by the Musicians for each Engagement listed above. 2.2 Unless otherwise notified by the Band Leader such Fee shall be payable as to 20% on signature of this Agreement (the “Deposit”) and 80% is due 7 days prior to the date of the Engagement by bank transfer, or by cash on the day of the Engagement. This is a required condition for the contract to proceed. If the Fee is not tendered before the above-specified date, no further obligation from either party comes due. 2.3 An additional invoice may be sent after the Engagement to cover outstanding expenses.
